Mars rovers' explorations continue to surpass expectations

Mars rover Opportunity is set to climb into a crater from which it might not be able to escape, while its sister rover Spirit explores a range of hills two miles away from its landing site. Scientists are considering putting the rovers into hibernation mode for the Martian winter and waking them next spring to continue their explorations.
