Nielsen, Univision bury their differences under millions of dollars

Spanish-language broadcaster Univision Communications, one of the more vocal critics of Nielsen Media Research's Local People Meter feature, has signed a five-year deal with the ratings service. Under the terms of the multimillion-dollar deal, Nielsen will track local ratings for 34-owned Univision and TeleFutura TV stations.
