Hawaii hotels go green

Hotels in Hawaii increasingly are going green as more travelers emphasize the importance of sustainable measures. One hotel leading the pack is the Mauna Lani Resort, which was a model for other Hawaii properties when it first installed photovoltaic panels in 1998 and now uses more solar energy than any other hotel worldwide.
