Kansas firm develops search-and-rescue technology for UAVs

Flint Hills Solutions in Wichita, Kan., is developing search and rescue technologies for unmanned aerial vehicles through a partnership with the Kansas Air National Guard. Experts say UAVs will fly in commercial airspace within the next five years and could aid in search-and-rescue missions.
