Teens brave major obstacles on path to graduation

Four Boston-area teens profiled by the Boston Globe for excelling despite major challenges include two with disabilities. Briana Galeazzi was diagnosed with childhood leukemia at age 12 and was treated with chemotherapy for 2.5 years. Breanna Comeau, 18, sees her hearing impairments and dyslexia as gifts: "I've never thought of them as disabilities," she said. "They keep me motivated."
