Audit: Virginians need better-coordinated autism services

Better coordination of services and training of teachers is needed to ensure that children's autism symptoms are treated, according to a report released by the Virginia General Assembly's Joint Legislative Review Commission. The report said that many parents wait more than a year to pursue services after noticing signs of autism.
