Obama argues that recovery plan is delivering results to U.S.

Answering critics who doubt the effectiveness of his economic-stimulus program, President Barack Obama pledged at a Cabinet meeting that his administration will save or create 600,000 jobs this summer. Independent experts with no ties to political parties said Obama's job-creation predictions are plausible, but also said it will be quite difficult to accurately count the number of jobs created as a result of the government's spending programs.
