Obama works to avoid embarrassing stimulus spending

The Obama administration has been working hard to prevent stimulus spending from going to bridges that go nowhere and other potential scandals. So far, the efforts seem to be succeeding. "There is always a trade-off between speed and waste," said William Gale of the Brookings Institution.
