S.D. tribe, governor sign 10-year compact

The Standing Rock Reservation, in South Dakota along the North Dakota border, and South Dakota Gov. Mike Rounds have signed a 10-year gaming compact that lays out the number of slot machines allowed as well as maximum bets for the tribe's Grand River Casino. Of the nine tribes in the state, only the Cheyenne River Sioux has no casino. Three other compacts with tribes are due for renewal this year.
