Updated figures show German industrial orders rose in March

Industrial orders in Germany rose 3.7% in March, according to revised data from the Economics Ministry, compared with an increase of 3.3% originally reported. Economists said the change is significant. "It is more than 'the worst is over,'" said Andreas Rees, an economist at UniCredit. "There is a chance we will get at least meager growth in the industrial sector in the second quarter."
