Obama touts benefits of health care reform to seniors

At a meeting in Maryland on Tuesday, President Barack Obama assured senior citizens that their guaranteed Medicare benefits will not change under the health care reform law. The meeting comes as the government this week prepares to issue the first set of $250 checks to seniors who fall into a gap in Medicare's drug coverage.
