Spain's woes offer an opportunity to acquire property

As Spain insists its savings banks restructure, merge and write off bad loans more quickly, property investors are eying their real estate holdings. "The impact of these changes will be that banks are going to be forced to liquidate their stocks," says Adolfo Ramirez-Escudero, managing director of CB Richard Ellis. "We should be seeing more opportunity sales in the market."
