England considers including lessons on abuse, relationships in curricula

Officials in England are considering a measure that would add lessons on equality, abuse and same-sex relationships to the school curricula. However, the proposal, offered as an amendment to a separate bill, is unlikely to advance, as Education Secretary Michael Gove has said the school curricula should be focused more on academic subjects.
