Gove: England's schools must follow "British values"

All primary and secondary schools in England will be required to "promote British values" under a directive by Education Secretary Michael Gove, including the importance of British civil and criminal law, religious tolerance and opposition to gender segregation. The announcement follows a series of reports that found undesirable behavior at many of the country's schools.
