Investors buy Nashville strip-club site, work to attract new hotel

A half-acre site near Nashville's Music City Center has been bought for $2.6 million by Wilka Downtown LLC which is hoping to attract a luxury hotel to the property. Currently, a strip-club operates in a building on the land and investors say they'll honor their lease for the next five to six years, giving them time to locate a future hotel. "In talking to the Hilton or Marriott guys, those brands are definitely not ready, at least in the next four or five years, to put anything downtown," said Roshan Patel, one of the five business partners buying the property.
