Nike uses an animated ad to show human joy of soccer

Wieden+Kennedy has created a five-minute animated spot for Nike featuring World Cup greats battling an army of clones who ruin soccer by playing with ruthless machine-like precision. The "Risk Everything" ad is entirely animated and hearkens back to a "Good vs. Evil" spot from W+K in the 1990s in which human players took on demons. The ad is "a nice, unexpected left turn for the marketer in its endless celebration of the beautiful game," writes Tim Nudd.
