Ohio colleges partner with businesses for new employee pipeline

The University of Cincinnati is among colleges around the country partnering with businesses to channel students into in-demand jobs. Companies pay the university to join their Center for Business Analytics, which gives businesses the opportunity to use the college to train workers and find new employees with the right skills. "I think there's increasing pressure for companies to get highly trained people," said Mike DeVore at Cincinnati State Technical & Community College. "We used to contact them (employers). Now they contact us."
