UK schools consider ways to help ease students' stress

More schools in the UK are integrating mindfulness practices to reduce anxiety and improve achievement among students. Katherine Weare, emeritus professor at the universities of Exeter and Southampton's mood disorder centre and an advocate for mindfulness in education, suggests that teachers periodically ask students to stop what they are doing and focus on what their minds and bodies are doing.
