Alternative school graduates prepare to forge new paths

The 70 seniors at Helensview School, Oregon's largest alternative facility, have overcome tremendous personal hurdles to earn their diplomas. The school's tattooed principal, a single mother and former runaway herself, wishes she could whisk away her graduates to an isolated island rather than release them back into a world of welfare, drugs and violence.
