American Heart Association diet book asserts flexibility over fads

Pizza, sorbet and other indulgences are all within the realm of healthy eating, according to a new American Heart Association diet book. The book seeks to dismiss fad diets such as an all-grapefruit diet, a very low-fat diet and a low-carb diet, and instead focuses on behavior, nutrition and physical activity.
