Boeing, Navy study UAV for tracking submarines

Boeing is studying a variant of the ScanEagle unmanned aerial vehicle capable of being air-dropped from a P-8A or other aircraft to track submarines. The company is conducting studies with the Navy and Insitu. The group envisions a UAV that could track a submarine for 24 hours.
