Does online instruction remove personal touch?

Eastern Michigan University professor of educational leadership William J. Price refuses to teach online courses, preferring instead to preserve the "human face" of learning and instruction." He's certain such courses are the wave of the future, but Price does not relish the day when students are predominately taught without the benefits and rewards that come with personal, face-to-face contact.
