Campbell CEO: U.S. should copy Canada's food-safety model

Doug Conant, CEO of Campbell Soup, said the U.S. should switch to a one-agency food-safety system, such as the one in Canada, instead of dividing the job between the FDA and the Department of Agriculture. "The structure and framework of food safety in Canada is something we can learn from," he said in prepared remarks.
