Lanxess to expand with 2 acquisitions

German chemical maker Lanxess is expanding its reach in India and China. It plans to acquire the chemical business of Gwalior Chemical for $115 million. Gwalior one of India's largest producers of benzyl products and a supplier of sulfur chlorides. Lanxess also said it plans to buy China's Jiangsu Polyols, which makes trimethylpropane, used in lubricants, paints and coatings.
