Obama to defend health care proposal before doctors' group

President Barack Obama is scheduled to meet with the American Medical Association on Monday to present his health care reform plan and stress the importance of passing legislation on the revamp this year, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said Wednesday. The announcement follows a meeting between Obama and key lawmakers from both political parties on pushing for a health care reform deal.
