AdvaMed: California ranks No. 1 in medtech job creation

California assumed the top spot when it comes to the number of medical technology jobs created in the country, followed by Minnesota and Massachusetts, according to AdvaMed. The trade group also noted that the medical-device industry generated almost 423,000 jobs in 2008 and had an annual payroll of about $24.6 billion and $136 billion in product sales.
