Developer scales down plans for CentrePointe in Kentucky

Developer Dudley Webb redesigned and substantially scaled down its plans for the CentrePointe project in Lexington, Ky., after its initial idea fell through when an unidentified European financial backer died in 2008. The new design has been reduced from 498 feet and 35 stories to 25 stories and just under 288 feet. The project is initially expected to cost more than $200 million, but that number might change, developers say.
