McDonald's to expand across India, China and South Africa

McDonald's is planning to open 120 more restaurants in India and another 100 in South Africa over the next several years. About 14% of McDonald's operating income comes from the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa, up from less than 8% five years ago, according to Tim Fenton, head of the region for the quickservice chain. McDonald's also plans to open many stores in China.
