PET using new agent is better for CAD diagnosis than SPECT:

PET using the experimental agent BMS747158 yielded better images than technetium-99m sestamibi SPECT in the diagnosis of coronary artery disease, a Phase II study showed. The PET method also pinpointed a bigger perfusion defect area than identified by SPECT imaging, according to the study.
