Procter & Gamble recalls Iams cat food

Procter & Gamble announced Wednesday a voluntary recall of some of its Iams ProActive Health Cat and Kitten Food with a date stamp between September 2011 and June 2012. The move comes after a diagnostic testing suggested that the product may contain inadequate amounts of vitamin B-1, which could put cats at a greater risk for thiamine deficiency.
