A Florida charter school for students with special needs opened a facility to help provide sensory therapy for its students. Therapies offered at Pepin Academies' multi-sensory laboratory help students who have difficulty processing sensory information to find the right balance to help them achieve success in the classroom. "This is where you are self-regulating," one therapist said. "You're not overaroused or underaroused. It's where your optimal functioning is."
