Chains, chefs find wacky new ways to serve doughnuts

Krispy Kreme had nothing to do with celebrity chef Charlie "Chicken Charlie" Boghosian's launch of Krispy Kreme Sloppy Joes at the San Diego County Fair last week, but other restaurant chains including Dunkin' Donuts and IHOP are taking credit for their summer doughnut concoctions. Dunkin' rolled out its Glazed Doughnut Breakfast Sandwich nationally last week, and IHOP is now flipping Jelly Donut Pancakes.
