Civil engineering: "One of the most interesting disciplines"

Buildings and bridges are some of the familiar works created by civil engineers, but there are less visible contributions engineers make to complete the job, such as doing the prep work and designing the necessary infrastructure. "There are so many different aspects to civil engineering," said Jim Wilkins, Fluor Engineering manager. "That's why I chose it. It's one of the most interesting disciplines."
