Del. House to consider broad transgender-rights bill this week

The Delaware House is set to debate and possibly vote on a transgender rights bill as soon as Thursday. Under the proposal, Delaware would forbid discrimination based on gender identity in employment, housing, insurance, public contracting and public accommodations. The legislation has already passed in the state Senate and is supported by the governor.
