LPL Financial taps Oroschakoff as chief risk officer

Michelle Oroschakoff will take over for John McDermott as LPL Financial's chief risk officer as the brokerage firm faces several regulatory complaints about a lack of adequate oversight for its 13,000 U.S. stockbrokers. Oroschakoff's duties at LPL will include supervision of regulatory compliance. She is currently global chief risk officer for Morgan Stanley's wealth division.
