Novozymes says new enzymes could boost ethanol, corn oil yields

Novozymes unveiled two new enzyme products in its Avantec line that it says can improve ethanol and corn oil yields. "We saw up close and personal how last year's corn quality and prices negatively impacted our customers," Jack Rogers, the company's manager for bioenergy marketing. "We've seen how even small improvements in ethanol yield can have a huge impact on profitability."
