Obama's move against patent trolls garners FMI praise

FMI is lauding President Barack Obama's use of executive orders and legislative suggestions to fight patent trolls, who target businesses with aggressive and usually unfounded patent-infringement lawsuits. "Patent trolls pose an increasing threat to supermarket retailers, and we are heartened that the president is taking major steps to address the enormous burden they are imposing on businesses and, ultimately, consumers," FMI Regulatory Counsel Erik Lieberman said.
