Restaurants brainstorm as new health care rules loom

Like restaurant chains across the country, Washington, D.C.-based Clyde's Restaurant Group is considering changes to its business model in anticipation of higher health-care costs under the Affordable Care Act. "It started out as a brainstorming exercise for us," said CFO Jeff Owens. "We were able to sit in a room and ... list out any ideas that would generate either cost savings or additional revenue."
