Restrictive diet may increase risk of gallstones, study says

More people on a very restrictive crash diet developed gallstones than did those on a low-calorie eating plan, according to a study from the Karolinska Institute in Sweden published in the International Journal of Obesity. Researchers could not determine the reason for the difference.
