School-based flu shots help increase vaccination rates

Elementary schools in the Rochester, N.Y., area, that established vaccination clinics had a 13% higher flu vaccination rate, compared with schools without such clinics, according to a study in the journal Vaccine. The lead researcher said finding ways to expand children's access to flu shots could help increase vaccination rates.
