Study suggests link between vitamin D deficiency, HBV

Low levels of vitamin D and high levels of the hepatitis B virus appear to be connected, according to research from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany. The study, which did not demonstrate causality, also found seasonal fluctuations between HBV and vitamin D, suggesting the possibility of a "functional relationship" between the two.
