Want loyal customers? Be loyal first

Businesses that show their loyalty to clients will win repeat business in return, writes Mukesh Gupta, customer advocate with SAP. "Say 'thank you' at least once a year. Do it with style and surprise them with a gift," Gupta writes. Other tips: Use your customers' products and services, connect them to other clients, and treat them as well as you do clients you're trying to win.
