California sees boom in 2013 tourism spending

Tourist spending in California rose 3% over last year to nearly $110 billion in 2013, a report by nonprofit tourism group Visit California shows. The report indicates that there were more than 235 million travelers in California last year and hotel demand has increased quarterly over the past four years.
