Cigna hands creative to McCann and media to OMD

Cigna concluded two separate reviews with the awarding of its media business to Omnicom's OMD and creative to Interpublic Group's McCann. Hill Holliday was the incumbent on both. The moves come amid increased marketing spending at Cigna and other health care firms in response to the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
