Senators cite energy reliability as primary issue with EPA emissions proposal

Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and Mary Landrieu, D-La., point to energy reliability as the biggest potential problem with the Environmental Protection Agency's emissions proposal for power plants. Murkowski warned that the proposal could lead to a less stable power grid. Landrieu agreed that energy independence and reliability should be a higher priority than clean energy.
