Court Makes Landmark Ruling Backing Sports Waivers

In a unanimous decision released yesterday, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruled students who participate in extracurricular activities and their parents may not sue for negligence. The Court said otherwise schools could be forced to abandon activities that may result in injury.
