California faces transportation crisis

Residents in the Santa Clarita and Antelope valleys in northern Los Angeles county say gridlock will only worsen as more housing projects are approved. Planners are looking to more traditional solutions, such as widening the existing Golden State and Antelope Valley freeways, but finding money in tough budget times is hard.
