Ohio teachers union files suit against charters

The Ohio Education Association has filed a federal lawsuit arguing that the state's 179 charters schools violate the equal protection clause of the U.S. Constitution by receiving more per-pupil aid than traditional schools. The Ohio Charter School Association derided the suit as "just another desperate attempt to derail a successful program."
