GAO: Ethanol to take 30% of corn crop

A report from the Government Accountability Office says about 30% of the U.S. corn crop will be used to produce ethanol by 2012, up from 27% currently. The increase likely could put pressure on corn prices and influence livestock feed markets and meat prices, the GAO said.
