FDA: Florida tomatoes cleared in salmonella investigation

Food-safety officials announced that Florida tomatoes are safe to eat and are free of a rare strain of Salmonella saintpaul. The FDA and CDC are investigating an outbreak of the disease, thought to be borne through tomatoes.
